Research, medical care, and social action in the subject of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) focus on the condition of a person's reproductive system and sexual health at all ages. The term can also be defined more broadly to refer to sexual wellbeing, which includes the capacity for responsible, fulfilling, and safe sex as well as the freedom to choose whether, when, and how often to engage in it, within the context of the World Health Organization's (WHO) definition of health, which is "a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." In specifically, sexual and reproductive health is defined by UN organisations to include both physical and psychological health with regard to sexuality.
