The demand for more minority participation in healthcare grows along with the minority population. Organizations in the healthcare industry must adapt to the times in order to continuously pursue patient happiness and progress. It's critical to establish a connection with each patient that enters the building as more firms adopt cultures that are built on patient happiness. According to a John Hopkins University study, racial patients who have a choice in their doctors are more likely to choose those from their own race or ethnic origin because they sense a deeper personal connection in terms of language and cultural sensitivity. However, the sad fact still stands: due to healthcare organisational structures and a basic lack of variety, patients don't always have the luxury of picking their doctors.
