In order to increase environmental public health tracking (EPHT) capacity and create a nationwide Tracking Network, the National Environmental Public Health Tracking Program has offered state and territory health agencies (S/THAs) money and guidance possibilities. To better understand how health, environmental, and population data relate to one another and how they influence public health policies and practises, S/THAs employ EPHT systems to gather and analyse the relevant data. 25 states and one city are given funding under the CDC's EPHT Program to create and grow their public-facing Tracking Networks. In addition to assisting states and territories in determining how the environment is affecting population health, EPHT programmes also aid them to identify viable policy solutions and provide information for decision-making.
