Biography:
Dr. Misgana E. Woldemeskel is a physician-researcher focusing on HIV medicine, cardiovascular epidemiology, and stroke research. She holds an MD from Hayat Medical College in Ethiopia (2021) and an MPH from The George Washington University's Milken Institute School of Public Health (2025). She currently serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator supporting the NIH/NINDS Acute Stroke Research at the MedStar Health Research Institute in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Collaborator Network and the American Public Health Association (APHA).
