Biography:
Mr. Atalay Muluneh earned a Bachelor of Science in public health officer (40% public health and 60% clinical practice) in 2016 and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics in 2018 at the University of Gondar, Ethiopia. He joined the University of Gondar in 2016 as an academician and has worked as a lecturer and assistant professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He has been working as a PhD candidate (FT) and research officer(P/T) at the biosecurity program at UNSW, Australia, since 2023. He is interested in applying geospatial techniques in biosecurity and outbreak surveillance.
