Biography:
Mr. Ikechukwu Nnaji is a dedicated global public health professional and medical laboratory scientist with over nine years of hands-on experience addressing vaccine-preventable diseases. He is part of the NCDC research team working on the NiCaDe Project, strengthening national surveillance for Hepatitis and Rotavirus. Deeply passionate about biosafety, biosecurity, and infectious waste management, Ikechukwu has actively served several National Rapid Response Teams tackling outbreaks such as cholera, diphtheria, meningitis, and yellow fever. His research also focuses on Hepatitis and Rotavirus among internally displaced persons in Nigeria. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at MIVA Open University, Nigeria.
