Biography:
Areej Mir recently completed her BMSc with honours at the University of Western Ontario. She is currently working towards completing her Master’s in Medical Sciences at the University of Toronto, conducting research under the supervision of Dr. David Lim at Women’s College Hospital. Her project focuses on characterizing differences in breast cancer screening uptake, presentation, treatment options, and survival outcomes among immigrant women in Ontario.
