Biography:
Dr. Andrea Arango Angarita is a Nutritionist and Dietitian from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, with a Master’s in Public Health and a PhD in Nutritional Sciences from the National Institute of Public Health of Mexico (INSP). She is a researcher at INSP’s Center for Research in Evaluation and Surveys and a lecturer at its School of Public Health. Her work focuses on analyzing dietary data from national health surveys and publishing in national and international journals. Her research interests include sustainable diets, food systems, food security, and food environments. Dr. Arango has also supervised theses and led health projects.
