Eric Zheng

Eric Zheng is a student researcher from New Jersey with interests in virology, oncology, and global health. His current research investigates the molecular and immunological mechanisms underlying Merkel cell polyomavirus-associated Merkel cell carcinoma, with a focus on viral integration, immune surveillance, and cancer development. Through research and international clinical experiences, Eric has developed a strong interest in the intersection of biomedical science and global health. He hopes to pursue a career integrating clinical medicine, biomedical research, and public health.
