Biography:
Sayema Akter is a Research Fellow at BRAC JPGSPH, BRAC University. She is an anthropologist by training. She has nine years of experience in designing, implementing and managing small to large scale empirical qualitative research projects. Her research interest is in narratives of mobilizing community engagement for urban equity, youth with disability and livelihoods, global interventions at the End of Life. She also has experience working as a Teaching Fellow in the Master of Public Health program. She has a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and completed her Master's in Public Health (MPH). She has published article in different international peer reviewed journal.
