eHealthResp is an online course targeted to physicians and pharmacists, with the aim of providing up-to-date knowledge to aid with clinical decision on respiratory tract infections (RTI) management. This online course comprises a series of presentations, accompanied by several clinical cases to test the knowledge obtained. These clinical cases are inspired in four already validated algorithms included on a mobile app that was developed in parallel to the online course. To ensure the quality of the contents of this course, a two-round Delphi process was conducted, to obtain consensus. A multidisciplinary panel of experts were invited to analyze eight clinical cases and the adequacy of treatment options for each case. The questionnaires of the first round were sent, and eighteen panelists provided feedback. A report summing up the results of the first round was forwarded. On the second round, nineteen experts responded to the questionnaire. At the end of both rounds, six clinical cases obtained consensus (>60% agreement), and most treatment options were successfully validated (>70% agreement). The validation of the contents certainly contributes to a great improvement of the quality of eHealthResp, which will consequently, serve as an important tool to raise awareness on judicious antibiotic use for RTI.
